The forum attracted seed savers from all over Bulgaria. For the first time, scientific research results from the old fruit varieties were presented, as well as comparative assessments of their qualities compared to new varieties. The lecturers presented a wide range of topics: the history of Bulgarian vegetable production in past centuries, as well as what are the economic opportunities for Bulgarian agriculture using local varieties. In addition to the lectures, we also had a poster session with posters about rowan, about the history of Bulgarian gardeners abroad and a presentation of the experience in Germany and Switzerland in preserving fruit species in large gardens and nurseries
